The lightest and most compact flute case on the market today, designed by Eugenio Righi in Boston and handmade by Diamant in Italy. The compact design easily fits in a shoulder or handbag. Its diminutive dimensions are achieved by optimizing the interior layout of a traditional French case, while exploiting the immense structural integrity offered by the carbon fiber shell. The case is virtually indestructible and the interior supports safely hold the flute sections in place. The case is also athermic: the carbon shells radiate heat rather than absorbing it, keeping the interior 50-100 degrees F cooler than the exterior, should the case be exposed to an extremely hot environment. The case can be personalized and the locks engraved (please inquire).
